About Triad Represent
Triad Represent is a collective of fashion photographers based in Paris. The fashion world exudes elegance while Triad Represent captures that luxury, sophistication and grace for the world to admire.
About the Logo
This logo starts with a triangle shape, a nod to the tri- in their name, Triad Represent. The subtle colors gold, gray and cream look elegant together as the dividing lines between the sections start to swirl toward the center. The three sections are shaped so it looks like a camera shutter capturing the photography theme of the collective.
The lettering is simple and unadorned Myriad Pro with its thin lines giving it a delicate feel. The lettering is meant to not distract from the logo image. The logo image and cream colored lettering is set off against a black or dark background.
My thoughts
I would not normally choose to put gold, gray and cream together, but in this case it works. Actually in this rendering the gray looks almost silver. I did not metallicize the colors choosing to keep it simple and thus elegant. The shape of the divisions between colors was a happy accident. It was only after I had drawn the beginnings of a swirl that I realized it looked like a camera shutter.
Just for fun, I asked AI to create the logo (after I had already designed mine) and here’s what it came up with. Not that bad.
