The Story
Colorado became part of my life long before I ever lived there. My family, scattered across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maine, often came together for family reunions in beautiful Summit County, Colorado. We hiked fourteeners, watched otters frolicking in the river, explored the mountains, and—most importantly—had time to catch up with one another.
Later, I had the opportunity to move to Denver, where I lived for about ten years. During those years, my family and I fell in love with the beauty of the West—the mountains and mesas, the rivers winding through the landscape, and the seemingly endless opportunities to be outdoors.
A River Runs Through is my tribute to those Colorado years. Its landscape brings together the shapes, colors, and memories of a place that became home and of the many family adventures we shared there.
