What is Edge-to-Edge Quilting?

Edge-to-edge quilting uses one continuous design across the entire quilt top. The pattern flows from side to side, creating consistent texture and movement while allowing the piecing, color, and fabric to remain the focus.

COMMON

QUESTIONS

What You May Want to Know

1. How long does edge-to-edge quilting take?

Most lap and twin-size quilts are completed in less than a week once your quilt arrives in the studio. My studio machine accommodates quilts up to twin size, so queen and king-size quilts require me to schedule time on a larger longarm machine. Please allow at least one additional week for these larger quilts.

Your backing should be at least 4 inches larger than the quilt top on all four sides.

Yes. Batting is available for an additional charge, or you may provide your own suitable batting.

4. Can I ship my quilt to you?

Yes. I accept quilts by mail and will provide the shipping address and packing instructions when we arrange your quilting service. Return shipping will be added to your final cost.

Yes. Binding services are available upon request for an additional charge.

Because quilts vary in size, the final price is based on the actual measurements of your quilt top at $0.03 per square inch. As a general guide, a lap quilt is about $130, a twin is about $189, a queen is about $270, and a king is about $363. Batting, binding services, and return shipping are additional.
